Paolo Pasolini

Pier Paolo Pasolini (1922–1975) was an Italian poet, novelist, and filmmaker whose career bridged literature and cinema. He gained early recognition for writing about Italy’s marginalized communities before turning to film with Accattone. With films like The Gospel According to Matthew and Salò he secured his place as one of Europe’s greatest and most provocative artists.
