The loudly requested Avery Encore!
Join us tomorrow for two hysterical ’40s cartoons, two of the most beloved short films about the antagonistic and bizarre limits of capitalism, and for last the best movie ever made about going to the movies: Les Sièges de l’Alcazar, a ruthless satire of cinephilia made by the worlds most dedicated cinephile, Luc Moullet. This screening will be hosted by Narrow Margin, an international cinema quarterly whose first issue focuses on Moullet and Vittorio Cottafavi. Copies will be available for $14.
